SO GLAD to see this! I'm from Virginia Beach and often saw 'Sequoia' on the Elizabeth River and at Atlantic Yacht Basin in Chesapeake. I was on hand for the 'after rebuild party' in the late 1980's, saw her again under Norshipco ownership in the late 1990's and most recently when I took my nephew to Atlantic Yacht Basin to see this sad, forlorn and forgotten bit of our History. Now the rescue from the clutches of death in Deltaville.

That’s what I want, a old house moved in the country.

We did one down here and the brother, decided that he didn't want his view obstructed by his sisters new home, so after we had the basement walls done, the floor, the garage floor, all poured, with raidant heat installed, they tore it all down and hauled it to the landfill. $100,000, down the drain.

Es una excelente alternativa cuando quieres cambiarte de lugar pero tienes un amor muy grande a tu casa, no creí que existiera esta industria, el de mover casas, actualmente estoy teniendo problemas en el lugar donde vivo, no me dijeron que iba a haber una fabrica de blocks y el movimiento de la maquina está causando estragos en mi casa, chicos deberian poner una sucursal en México (es el pais en donde vivo), porque realmente deseo mudarme pero con todo y casa. amo sus videos y hacen que mi sueño de mudar mi casa de ese lugar sea más tangible, obvio no cuento con el dinero para hacer ese sueño realidad, pero con el tiempo sé que lo lograré.🙏

the craziest thing is how long people have been moving homes like this, except back in the 1800's and early 1900's they didnt have all the hydraulics and engine/computer powered machinery
